It’s an exciting time to be joining Antarctica New Zealand – we’ve received Government funding to redevelop Scott Base, which will see the existing base, built in the 1980s and made up of 12 buildings, replaced by three large interconnected buildings.
Antarctica New Zealand is looking to fill two new roles within the Scott Base Redevelopment project team as part of the Wind Farm Upgrade workstream.
This new wind farm will provide 97% renewable energy to the new Scott Base. The work also involves deenergising the existing wind farm and safely transporting it back to New Zealand.
